  Terrible customer service. I went there last week and was in search of a specific product. They didn't have it on the shelf so I went to the front counter to ask if they still sold it. The lady at the front was extremely rude and treated me as if I was dumb. Asking me if I looked hard enough. Then asking me if I needed her to go look for me because she thought I didn't look hard enough. She didn't go look but instead, after being so rude, she proceeded to check the system and found that they were sold out and were going to have an shipment within the next two days. So I asked if she could put one on hold for me. She replied with a rude look and said - well you're going to come back in the next few days right? You can get it then, it wont sell that fast.... WOW. I will not be going back to this store again. One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a health food store.

  Nice to find a local health food store in fsj which carries quality products. Homesteader will be my new go-to place for all my health needs!

  Great selection of natural organic products, from groceries to medicinal pills, probiotics, and whatever else you might need! Comparable prices to the local grocery stores! I always buy my multivitamins and baking products here!

  Selection variety is OK but could be better. The staff are always knowledgable and helpful. The prices are little on the high side for this region, but hopefully will improve when the city grows and there is more competition, but glad that this store supports the local economy as it's locally owned.

  Awful...it was like pulling teeth to get help. A blonde haired lady in her late 30's/early 40's was outright ignorant to me. I said I heard I should be taking magnesium to help absorb my daily vitamins. After looking at me like I had three heads, she told me "I have never heard of that. Ever". She was trying to make me feel stupid, and it worked. I googled later and although it's more for help with calcium and vitamin D absorption, it indeed does help.
